Hearing Aid Care
If you take care of your hearing aids properly, they should provide life-changing benefits for years to come.
We recommend that you wear your digital hearing aids as often as possible, ideally for at least 10 to 12 hours a day. Remember to open the hearing aid battery door each night to conserve battery power and remove any condensation within the device. Clean your hearing aids every morning by wiping off the microphone and receiver (speaker) with a soft cloth. Always keep a spare hearing aid batteries with you, or ensure that your rechargeable hearing aids are fully charged before use.
We suggest that you avoid wearing digital hearing aids in the shower or while swimming, and don’t store your hearing aids in the bathroom. Your hearing aids are programmed specifically for your hearing, they should not be shared with others. Finally don’t try to repair your hearing aids yourself.
